Beyond Borders

Poetry has power in it
Which takes us beyond borders
Of time ‘n’ space,
Beyond the deep blue skies
Where the sun ‘n’ moon rise.

Led by a divine light
The poet reaches there
Where the sun cannot reach,
Explores the terrains unknown,
‘n’ speaks in a mysterious tone.

The poet’s esemplastic Power
Enables him to fuse all things
Into a harmonious whole
‘n’ into ‘sensations sweet’ ---
By –products of a genius meet.

This irresistible Force
Can open the gates of Heaven
Where the celestial beings live,
Can also show the portals of Hell
Where the eternally dammed dwell.
