His brown eyes peered deeply into mine
A second they rested into mine
The lashes flashed a merry thrill
A second later, they were still
I shrugged my shoulders to witness the show
A second later, my eyes were a glow
His heaving chest, his furrowed brow
His tightening muscles, his handsome ‘wow’
Shook me fiercely from my shy
How I longed not to cry
The cry of distaste soon beheld me
As I deeply delved into my ‘sigh’
The sigh of despair escaped my lips
Soon I realized something was a miss
The lazy droopy lashes were not for me
That intent look was not for me
A shadowy trail crossed my path
Beneath the burning tarnished sword
I soon untangled from the stare
My eyes were shrouded, no longer bare
He looked passed me, he no longer cared
For we were no one we were nowhere.
