Dusted lives 
Awaiting rain!
Powdered with sand,
Dancing to the tunes 
of vehicles,
Blooming with red pink
Flowers,
Sheltered a labour of 
The dog,
Hid the baby puppies.
Busy Highway nights
Ended with further busy 
Mornings.
Fed the puppies
Tired mother went to 
Fetch some food 
Drenched with blood 
Peeped the plants to find the mommy dog
Rushed the puppies to be nursed
Humans remarked,
“Death of a stray dog”,
“Happens all the time”

End of not just a life but lives, 
An era of lonesomeness!
