Late Kumkum Rawat

(These poems are precious parting notes of the poet after her “Eternal departure”. They are organized by her husband Mr. Yogesh Rawat and finalized in the present form by her friend Dr. Beena Agarwal.)

Lizzie, My Dog

Lizzie, Lizzie
my sweety baby
Loving and cute
who calls you doggie?
You rush to receive
guest at gate
They don’t understand you
and look with hate
You want to great everyone
by hugging them close
They just discard you
by flinching their nose
Disappointed, you come back
Unable to know
Why people with frozen heart
come and Go.
